this is so sweet/helpful
hasbro have made a minisite for kids into mlp to help educate about them about various issues and how they can help in local, small ways. I don’t know if anyone who follows me has young kids but this is a pretty nice resource, it’s in collaberation with the charity Generation On for’Friendship Day’ (is that a US thing? I’m from the UK so I don’t know).

As a sidenote, the ‘Hunger’ and ‘Homelessness/poverty’ sections are specifically focused on hunger and poverty/homelessness in your own area, not as world issues. Again I don’t know about the US but here in the UK our own huge poverty issues are basically completely swept under the rug and ignored so it’s great to see something like this.
