do ponies have proper first and last names ? like applejack’s family is The Apples but her name is applejack and theres granny smith and big mac and apple bloom so like. apple bloom apple ??? applejack apple? ?? or are they just. apples because theyre apples and its an unwritten lore

and fluttershy’s parents are mr and mrs shy so like. is her name fluttershy shy ? or was she just flutter????
